[googlefont="VT323"] Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. Katsu was having a bit of a hard time here in the factory. While he remained composed when he was around people he found that he had a hard time being alone. He wanted to be alone but everywhere he went there was usually someone there. They didn't even have separate rooms. He was sure that people would steal his food he had stocked up and that was a bit disconcerting, especially since he had yet to find his gummies that were stolen at the very beginning. One of them was a thief and Katsu didn't like the thought of that. He didn't want to not trust them, but with the situation like it was, there was only one person who he trusted and if she stole his gummies then he was fine with that. In fact, anyone could steal them and as long as he knew he would be fine. But he didn't know and that was what bothered him.
Sneaking around hoping not to be spotted and talked to by anyone, though he wouldn't mind if it were Tomoe if it had to be someone, Katsu found his way to the Factory Chief's office. There he remembered that a computer was there, and so Katsu found himself examining it. However, the computer was completely destroyed, and there was nothing Katsu could do to fix it. If he had the proper supplies he would have a computer to be on, but no, he lacked those supplies sadly. If only he had kept things like that on him… then again they could've been stolen like his gummies were and he'd be in the same position.
Regardless, Katsu found the keyboard and brought it to the farthest corner of the office and began to type on the keyboard despite the fact he knew that it was doing nothing. In his mind he saw the code he was typing going on and on, a firewall that he had been trying to break through for some time. How would he do it? He typed furiously, his eyes seeming to scan the empty space in front of him as if there was a computer there showing him what he was typing and what he was facing.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. This factory was weird. The people was even weirder. It seemed like everyone was trying to play it cool and straight, and not show any emotion and there was a feeling of oppression. Oppression of wills. Everybody was trying to force their presence and superiority. Taro was going to have none of it. If Taro got stuck with these losers, he was going to do his best to have fun. Fuck the bears, Taro was going to play with THEM. Well, he was also going to impress them with his super duper cool awesome magic tricks, and gain like amongst them. It was going to be FUN.
Taro started wandering in the factory. He needed to explore this place, since he was probably going to die in here. But, it was no time for melancholic thoughts. Since his first impression to others was unstable and a freak, which Taro was, he needed to get a more appopriate view instantly, or they wouldn't trust him. Taro was a man of tricks. It was what he did, and what he was super at. Both magic-wise, and people-wise.
Taro started to walk across the bridge back and forth, examining and remembering every each rust stain, acid puddle and weird holes and marks that bridge has took from time. It was wrong, but hey, if you wake up in a factory, with a murdering game that you participate in one day, anything can happen in your life and because of it you have to be prepared.
Taro heard heavy pressing noises, similiar to a keyboard's coming from the factory office. It seemed like someone was furiously writing swear words in a chat room fight. Which Taro used to do all the time. Bad reputation isn't always bad. Taro lightly and slowly took steps, moving forward to office. He couldn't wait to ridicule who was in the office, but he had to act cool. Like everyone else. Gotta blend in, am I right? As Taro stepped in and looked, he saw the doritos boy looking at the unplugged keyboard and furiously imaginary-hacking it. It was kinda pathetic, but hey, he probably uses his talent to blow off steam. A cocky smirk appeared on Taro's face.
''What's up doritos boy? Hacking an imaginary government file? Puhahahaha! You're a good laugh, dude. Take it easy though, you might break it. It seems quite cheap. It doesn't suit a SHSL Hacker like you, does it? So tell me, what's bothering you?''
Said Taro, as if he was taunting the dorito boy. He pulled off a chair and sat on it backwards, and looked straight to his eyes, waiting for an answer with his cocky smirk still standing on his face.

[googlefont="VT323"] Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. He could see the numbers and letters everywhere, popping up behind his eyes, not even noticing when the red head came in initially. Usually when he did this sort of thing he wouldn't get completely lost in the letters and the numbers, he had several televisions playing various different shows. That way he didn't get sucked into the hacking like he had in the past and lose track of everything around him. However, he had no distraction other than having to imagine the wall he was breaking down. He could feel his sanity starting to slip into the realm of computerized nonsense… well it was nonsense to other people, though not to him. Once he got into it, it was hard to get out of it, and the last time he was in 'the zone' he didn't sleep for about a week, and he kept typing until he passed out from exhaustion, and ended up in the hospital for a couple hours to get him rehydrated and told to be more careful.
However, when Taro began to speak, Katsu felt himself wrenched from that zone back to reality, having just stood at the door of no return just seconds before Taro began to speak. Taro's words confused him, but Katsu supposed that Taro didn't understand things as he did, and therefore things weren't as obvious to Taro as they were to Katsu. As well, Taro couldn't see the things Katsu had been imagining were on a screen in front of him. His eyes hopped out of complete focus though they stayed trained on the imaginary screen in front of him.
"It's not imaginary." Katsu stopped typing for a moment and he studied the code in front of him. Damn it. He'd made a mistake. If he did this in a real setting they would've tracked him. "It's not in here. It's out there somewhere." Since he didn't know exactly where the factory was on Earth, or if it was even on Earth at all, he couldn't say exactly what way it was from here. Though the setting of the sun did help give directions. It would be correct due to the world being round if he pointed just a random way, though he would rather be accurate. "Nothing is bothering me. I'm just trying to distract myself... I don't like being around other people. I can't find many places to be alone." So he supposed the lack of privacy was bothering him. He didn't mean to lie. He felt bad about that now. But what was done was done.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. After the dorito boy's talk, Taro understood everything very well. He was bored and wanted a distraction. And what was the best distraction other than what the loved to do most, which is what he is best at. However, there was only this keyboard. That must have been suck. However it was also pretty clear that he didn't want Taro here. Taro was offended, however he was trying to make him entertain. After all, magicians entertain. And that was what he was best at.
''Well, say good riddance to your boredom! Cause SHSL Magician is going to give you a special private magic show! If we weren't in a killing game I would take money from you. So you better enjoy it. Oh, wait a second. Gotta get the ingredients.''
Taro rushed out off the room in a hurry, then came back in a few seconds. As his first trick, he pulled out a whipping cream, bleach and a box of match. He first drank the bleach, then ate the whipping cream. After a few seconds he started to burp out huge bubbles. However, when the baloons popped they would pop in flames. Taro lighted a match and ate it, and breathed fire at the bubbles, and bubbles suddenly went all heavy and dropped to the ground, shattering and the glass shards formed the letters K A T S U on the floor.
For his second trick, Taro pulled off a light bulb from his scarf. He looked at it for a few seconds, and ate it without even chewing it. After that he also ate two batteries, and instantly his eyes and mouth started to glow. When he touched his belly it would stop and would start again when he touched it again. Taro then forced his mouth to puke, and puked a flashlight out.
For his third trick, Taro picked the keyboard and made it dissappear. Then Taro forced Katsu to turn his back and picked the keyboard from his back. Then purple glitter slime squirted out of the keyboard and covered all over katsu's body, his clothes, his face and his hair. After a few seconds, it started to catch fire.
''OH SHITLOCKS! I AM SO VERY VERY SORRY! THIS WAS AN ACCIDENT! LET ME GET THE WATER!''
Taro picked the bucket of milk he was hiding in corner of the room, and poured it over Katsu, turning all of the milk and flames into purple glitter cotton. Taro started to laugh hysterically.
''Oh! Man! I totally got you. You should've seen your face. It was priceles... Oh birdpoop. I'm sorry for this though.''
Taro was holding a melted keyboard in his hands. It was damaged by the fire that the glitter slime caused.

[googlefont="VT323"] Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. Katsu listened, but he continued to type his focus mostly on the imaginary code in his head. He did see when Taro did his tricks, and he was mildly amused. After all, he was the Ultimate Magician, though he wasn't sure if such things were really legal due to the rules of the whole place. Destruction of property was illegal, right? Surely, he would be careful, he hadn't destroyed anything yet after all. Katsu was sure if Tomoe was here she'd be clapping and cheering. While Katsu found it entertaining, or as entertaining as one of his shows he would normally pair with his hacking, finding himself wanting more, like about nine Taro's doing different tricks. Then he would be completely happy and at home. Too bad there weren't nine Taro's or at least eight other people putting on some sort of show for him. Plus, this room would get a bit crowded.
And then he went for his keyboard. Katsu looked up with a look of annoyance on his face as he did the trick. He forced Katsu in some sort of position where he was with his back to Taro. Katsu was not happy. He wanted his keyboard back. His televisions never did this to him. This was highly rude of Taro. He thought Taro was just helping assuage some boredom, but no, he was taking his keyboard away and making things worse and Katsu was starting to get a little bit angry with Taro for such a thing. However, Katsu was reserving judgement for later. As long as he got it back he would be fine ---
And then he caught on fire. His eyes widened and he sort of stared at the fire for several moments as Taro reacted to it. He literally didn't move, just staring. It was a trademark of his, the staring, it seemed, as he would just do it if something surprising happened. It wasn't helpful when he could possibly burn to death, especially if Taro was really trying to kill him, but it wasn't like Katsu could really do much about it. Taro poured the milk over him and the flames were gone and left was some sort of purple glittery stuff. However, he didn't care about any of that. All he cared about was the keyboard that Taro was holding. And Katsu looked completely dismayed.
Weakly, he reached for the keyboard, unable to lift his arm past about a quarter of the way up, no matter how hard he tried. He clenched his fist weakly, though it should've been a tight fist. Katsu closed his eyes and turned back around quickly popping a pill from a bottle in one of his pants pockets and then replacing them. He turned back around.
"That was mean to the keyboard."

"Puhuhuhu... We've got a naaaaaughty boy over here, bro!"
The Monokuma Bros. retreated back to their secret hideout after they gave the motive to the players of the game and after they flatlined Jeanne. Well, yes, they rigged the machinery to show a flatline. They tossed the Marathon Runner into the acid moat, even though she was technically fully alive. Gross for most, but not for the Bros.
The bear brothers could oversee the entire factory, all floors, the roof, the exit, everything, thanks to the surveillance cameras. The white-haired Poet chick was sleeping in the Chief's Office before, after they moved the bodies to a different place. The not-quite-terrorist and the mute were eating salad together...
"BO~~~RING!!! GET TO THE POINT!"
Ugh, okay... In any case, one of the surveillance cameras in the Factory Chief's Office showed the Ultimate Food Hoarder and the Ultimate Cheap Tricks Performer after the Ultimate Ink Waster left, when suddenly Taro destroyed the keyboard for one of his magic tricks! Naturally, that action was against the rules of the Factory! He had to be punished, and that quickly.
Out of seemingly nowhere, the MK Bros. both shot out of the ground in front of Taro and Katsu.
"Upupupu... Taro Arakawa, you haven't read the rules, have you? Destroying property of the factory is strictly prohibited and is a valid reason for punishment!"
"Yeah, bro. Time to show him the fabled Dual Bros Punishment Special, eh?"
Both brothers then took on poses as if they were pulling off a ritual to summon something unspeakable.
"YOU'LL BE PUNISHED!!! COME FORTH, FLAMING SWORD LAEVA-----" "Hold on, bro. You know, that performance wasn't that bad, was it? We were entertained, and that counts. Y'know, count yourself lucky, dude! If you destroy something else, then we won't be this merciful a second time, got that?"
They called off the summoning of the deadly weapon, and disappeared once more. As a parting gift, they dropped a keyboard in front of Katsu, which looks exactly like the one Taro used for his trick.
Let's see if Taro would pull the same stunt again.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. Well, that was close, wasn't it? Taro was actually scared shitless when the murderbears said they were going to execute him. He wasn't ready to die this early. I mean, first one to go? That would be something that he wouldn't be able to swallow because of his pride. He'd choose suicide over that. The bears came in because Taro accidentally destroyed the factory property. Taro quickly defended himself.
''W-WHA!? IT WAS JUST A MAGIC TRICK MAN! I-I CAN REPAIR IT, I PROMISE-''
However, after the murderbears said they were going to leave him alone because he entertained them, and because of that they will leave him alone for this time. Taro took a breath of relief, and put on his signature cocky smile.
''Heh, don't try this at home, boy. Hahahahaha! Well, I am the SHSL Magician, am I not? You must be very entertained watching me being scared for my life. Well, it's a pleasure entertaining you young hacker boy. I must take my leave. I hope we can spend a little more time again, it was fun.''
Taro smirked at Katsu and placed his index finger on Katsu's nose.
''Boop.''
Taro threw a smoke bomb at the ground, causing a glittery smoke to appear. When it dissipated, a bouquet of flowers was lying on the floor. This was a gift to Katsu from Taro. He liked messing with him. He was going to be a real good laugh. Also he was almost going to get Taro killed. That was something. He could give the flower to somebody he likes here or something. Taro didn't care. However, this was the beginning of a game, that Taro was going to play with Katsu.

[googlefont="VT323"] Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. Oh look. He did break a rule. The bears were her to punish him. Katsu wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't like he could save Taro from the bears, they would just kill him too. Plus, he was a bit lazy since he knew he couldn't do anything to affect the outcome. He rather not die for no reason. However, when the bears chose to spare Taro and gave him a new keyboard Katsu's eyes lit up like it was Christmas and sat down and began to type as fast as he could, the formulas already calculated in his head so his fingers were typing more rapidly. If life were a cartoon, smoke would be coming from his fingers right now.
However, when Taro booped him Katsu looked up with a curious look. Huh. Boops weren't as good when they came from others, though he did still enjoy a good boop on the nose. Tomoe was the best booper. Taro could probably learn a thing or two from her about how to boop correctly. Katsu was still typing though he wasn't looking as the keyboard when Taro threw that smoke bomb. Katsu stared at the bouquet of flowers and wondered where Taro got them from. Either way they were pretty so Katsu leaned forward, stretching with one hand to pick them up and set them next to him so he wouldn't forget to pick them up later to put them in his room.
And so, Katsu closed his eyes for a moment, seeing the code in the darkness and he began to type once more, faster and faster his brain worked, faster than his fingers could move, before they slid to the side and Katsu lost concentration. He took in a deep breath and sighed, standing up, the keyboard and the flowers in hand in order to bring them both to his room. He'd probably come back to type here later, but he wanted the keyboard for now in case he found another empty place to just type.
