It has been quite a few days in the Factory Life of Mutual Killing. In fact, once the next Daytime announcement triggers, it will have been the fourth day that the 16 students were playing this fabulous game, where nearly a murder happened already!
A few friendships were already formed, some have made enemies already, and the Bros. were also ready to just send the Ultimate Magician the way of the Dodo, if they weren't amused by his antics.
You should feel at least a little stressed out, and maybe some of the participants couldn't sleep well, in any case, a thick fog is hanging over the air, and no one can escape the dread they feel.
Hell, maybe you had to answer Mother Nature's call at 4:30 AM in the morning. In any case, you go to the bathroom and find that one stall has been... occupied?
You open the stall, and what you see (should) shock(s) you to the core:
...
...
A pool of pink, a pained expression, tied up and unmoving.
Shirong Lui, the Ultimate Guardian, was dead.
The first murder has been committed, and the Factory Life of Mutual Killing now truly begins!
It is a matter of time before the despair truly takes hold of the fifteen remaining survivors.
And in an inaccessible place, the Monokuma Bros. sit there, laughing all the while.
It took those bastards long enough, but the motive must've been pretty effective!

Hello. We will meet again.
Goodbye. We will part again.
Hello. In another place,
you will leave without waiting for our farewell.
The day is approaching... if someone doesn't die everyone will "It seems everyone will die in the end..." She says with a melancholic voice... She doesn't want to die here, but she can't kill someone else "Do i really have to do this...?" She asked herself, she didn't think about it the last week but now... something is spinning around her ears and saying: "Kill... Kill... Kill... Kill..." "Stop!" she shut her ears and walk towards the Workers Quarters some sleep would help...
When she enter and head to the bathroom "A Bath always help" She is feeling something strange... a premonition that she shouldn't open that door, something evil is inside it... "It's just a Bathroom nothing out of this world..." When she open it and enters she sees... Shirong Lui dead "Ahhh-Ahhhh-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER-
Mei Meiyo had had this overwhelming sense of dread in her heart all night and she couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard she tried. In a game of killing, you would think that a swordswoman trained in the ways of kenjutsu would feel at ease, but Mei only felt this weird sense of wrongness. She'd barely felt it in the past. Namely, when she failed at commiting a murder that she had been ordered to commit. Sometimes she wouldn't be able to find the target, or she would get there and they'd already be dead. With the latter, the person hiring her would usually be satisfied, but with the former, they usually just got fed up with her and Mei wished that someone would send in a hit request for them.
Regardless, Mei drew herself out of her bed and slung on her swords. She never went anywhere without them. She also still had the knife from the strange man's dead body on her, and as she looked around at the dead silent room, she wondered whether she really needed to bring it. Then she took a deep breath. Wait. What was that smell? It was familiar to her. The scent of blood hung heavy in the air.
The Kenjutsu Master followed the smell into the bathroom, but before she did, she conducted a quick roll call in her head. Kamiya... Cruz... Conium... Sunada... Suzuki... They were all here, so who was bleeding? Wait, Da Ji was missing. Then she heard the scream.
Mei entered the bathroom and saw a single closed stall. Kicking open the door, the sight made Mei emit a low growl. Because tied up and bleeding was him.
Shirong Lui, the Super High School Level Guardian.
Wait. If Shirong was here... When did he get here? And why? Mei brought her wakizashi on instinct. The murderer could still be in the vicinity and Mei wasn't willing to become a second victim.

Joo-Eun Cruz - SHSL Poet
"Fiction is the truth inside the lie." - Stephen King
|
Two hundred fifty-seven bears, two hundred fifty-eight bears, two hundred fifty-nine bears, two hundred sixty-nine, no, was it sixty-seven? Sixty-six? Ah mierda, I lost count... Joo-Eun thought to herself as she shifts in her bed, trying to get into a comfortable position, who knows when the next time she’ll get the chance to sleep is? She knows that sleeping anywhere else during night time is unlawful. She needed to rest tonight to get strength for the next day, so she’s fully alert, but she just can’t seem to get any rest tonight.
Not that having trouble with sleep was new with the Poet, this happens on a daily basis. She wanted to sleep, though. Sleep offered such a good distraction to the hell that she was forced to live in on a daily basis. Joo-Eun was tired from the recent events she needed to find a distraction, or an escape, if she wanted to get out of this place sane.
Of course, that is if I’m going to leave the place alive. She thought to herself and then quickly shook the thoughts away. No, this wasn’t good, pessimistic thinking wasn’t good for her. She needed to clear her thoughts and think straight. Joo-Eun wondered what it is about this place that is quickly changing her, then she thought, maybe it was because of boredom? Maybe the Poet just needed some entertainment?
She had no time for entertainment, though, she needed to focus on the task at hand, focus and find a way out. This wasn’t something that she can just simply write her way out of, this was something that she knew in her subconscious that she can’t stop.
Not that her pride will ever let her admit it anyway, she will put an end to this if this was the last thing that she’ll ever do.
After a while, Joo-Eun had decided that she isn’t getting any sleep tonight. If she wasn’t sleeping then she should at least do something productive, she stood up, yawned, and stretched. The Poet had no way of knowing how long it had been since the 10p.m. announcement, and even then, how sure would she be that it was actually 10p.m? She doesn’t trust anything that those bears have said. Joo-Eun, however, was sure that it had been more than five hours since the night time announcement, she can at least believe in her body clock, her intuition.
She wore her clothes, put on her glasses, and combed her hair. The Poet had left the room and decided to check around the places. Maybe she can find flaws in this factory and use it to her advantage, anything but just lazing around in her bedroom will do.
Of course, like every other normal teenage girl, she too needed to go to the restroom every now and then. As she slowly makes her way near the women s restroom, her boots slowly echoing against the metal floor, she noted just how eerie the factory was during the early mornings. She felt chills run up her spine at the thought of someone sneaking behind her to possibly murder her.
She pushed the door open, the rusty door making a sound of protest, as if it didn’t want to be opened by her. Later, she would realize the reason behind this, that maybe she should have just stayed in her room, that maybe she should’ve just tried to sleep harder.
When she walked in the rest room, there were two other people inside, Da Ji, and Mei Meiyo. She found it quite odd that they were in the restroom, even weirder was the fact that they were both shell shocked, near one of the cubicles.
Joo-Eun greeted them with a light voice, “Good morning, ladies.” She had told them, she then paid them no mind as she went inside the first cubicle and did her morning business. After a few moments, she left the cubicle, washed her hands, and left the restroom.
Huh, that was a little weird, has the place always been that… smelly? It smelled of iron, and it confused Joo-Eun. And then, as if a wave if realization had hit Joo-Eun, she was reminded of the situation that they were all in. Anxious of the possibility of someone dying in the very same building as she was, she ran back to the restroom, she barged inside the room, surprising the two other girls inside.
She huffed as she walked near them and pushed them away "excuse me,” she says to the both of them. The sight that awaited the Poet solidifies that fact that she was not going to get any sleep tonight.
A pool of pink, a pained expression, three shell-shocked faces, and a dead guardian.
Joo-Eun realizes all too soon that Shirong Lui, the SHSL Guardian is now dead.
The Poet took a deep breath, great a murder and I'm stuck with these two girls, she thought to herself. She pushed the disgust away and looked at the two girls with what she hopes to be is a calming smile. "This is the first time that it has happened, someone needs to go call the others. Da Ji, call the boys, I'll call the girls. Mei, please stay here and guard the body, I trust that you will know what to do." She looked at the black-haired girl, forgetting all about the other girl in the room.
Joo-Eun had put one calmimg hand on Mei's shoulder, nodded at Da Ji, and left the room to make the other ladies aware of a murder. A lot of questions are buzzing in her head but she pushed it all away.
Feelings later, work now. Was her thought as she walked inside the ladies' dorms.

The Monokuma Brothers were looking at their surveillance camera in the bathroom.
"The Ultimate Know-it-all, the Ultimate Salad Hair and the Ultimate Knows-nothing... Upupupu, it's time, brother!"
Suddenly, a few bells chimed and everyone living in the building would hear the following words:
"BING-BONG-DING-DONG! A body has been discovered! After a short investigation period, a class trial will begin! Giddy up, kiddos!"
With the announcement ringing, another sound chimed that caused all previously locked rooms to unlock.
"You can explore anywhere you desire, until the class trial begins! By the way, we've got something special for you!"
For whoever was looking at their Electro-ID, they would find a new tab called "Evidence", that wasn't there previously. On it was a singular entry.

[googlefont="VT323"] Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the human spark of spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. Katsu wasn't in his room. Katsu was patrolling the halls to make sure to prevent anyone from acting rashly at night. He slept enough during the day anyways, and he didn't sleep all the often in general. He was used to the lack of sleep. However, that didn't prevent Katsu from sliding his feet while he walked. You see, at night people weren't out, so his reason for being out at night wasn't all selfless, it was due to the fact he could finally be alone. During the day people were all out and exploring the factory, in one of the areas, or the area was too hot to stay in for too long. Of course, he didn't mind being around Tomoe, but he really enjoyed being alone. Plus, he couldn't really stay over with Tomoe at night unless she went out of her room and that was dangerous. Anyways, she slept like a normal person would at.. how late was it? He should be getting to sleep soon anyways. He was starting to feel a bit tired. He was slowly started to make his way up to the rooms when the announcement rang out. Katsu blinked a couple times before he quickly jerked his head in the direction of the girl's room. Was Tomoe...? What about Izuku? He couldn't let him die because Katsu said he would make Izuku happy.
His mind was whirling around with theories as he forced his legs to pick up the pace, the grogginess snapping away and his focus coming back as adrenaline coursed through his body. And then BAM! He ran right into the door that Da Ji had just opened and fell onto his butt. He stared at the door for several moments, looked over to the panicking Da Ji then he looked into the girl's room, fearful of what he would find when he entered.
So, he got up and went into the girl's room and without looking anywhere else he ran to the bathroom where the commotion was taking place. He stumbled into the bathroom like some pervert and his eyes landed on Mei and Joo and then just thought someone had walked in on Mei killing Joo or something. And then he stepped in something and Katsu looked down to see the pink. He looked up to the others in the room then his eyes landed on Shirong.
"Hm." Katsu put on the thinking pose with his hand at his mouth. He rather no one else see this, but he didn't know if he could prevent them from seeing this sight. After all, some would need to investigate and stay with this body. Katsu went to the door and greeted those who entered. "You don't have to look if you don't want to." That's what he told each person who entered. Words: 472 | Tag: open

Sybil Conium
TAG None WORDS 501
Damn you despair, you killed Shirong | This room, the room where the girls were supposed to sleep, she sure hated it. At that time, Sybil would have much preferred just walking the halls, but the thing was, this was the only room besides the elevator that wasn't too uncomfortably warm. Why did people pass out in heat? Was it like, dehydration from sweating? That would be pretty gross. Regardless, it wasn't that hot thankfully. But god help her if she had to enter that refinement area.
Rolling over in bed, she felt the mask uncomfortably press against her face. Damn, it was so tight on, she wouldn't be surprised if she was cutting off blood. Taking a breath, she stared over, across the quarters towards the exit. A thought ran in her head. 'I miss my room.' Of course, the introvert wasn't used to sleeping in a public quarters, but at the same time, her old room, from before this game... it was just a place of safety. A place she could breathe and let her mind unleash.
The girl heard others start to walk towards the bathroom, but put it out of her mind. It was night, people needed to go when nature beckons.
Night... What time was it again? This was getting frustrating. She'd been trying forever it seemed, but like previous nights, the girl was just far too paranoid to sleep easy. Yeah, she was a light sleeper, so if someone attacked her, she'd probably be able to defend herself, but--
A sound rang out. Then, those words. "A body has been discovered."
It took a minute for her to get up. It seemed as though everyone was starting to stir with that. It was... Oh god, she needed to calm down. Standing from her bed, she pressed her hands against the wall and took a few deep breaths. Once she finally got her shaking under control, she turned.
"Okay... O-Okay, just see it for yourself..." Daring to look up, she noticed the boy with the red jacket arrive. How long did she take to calm herself? No, that didn't matter. Crossing her arms, she headed for the door of the bathroom, slowly. As she stepped in, she passed the boy again, looking up into his eyes for just a moment. They both probably had those same sleepy eyes.
People were starting to gather in the bathroom, around a single stall. There, sat Shirong. Dead. In a pool of his own blood, which was seeping into the floor tiles. That much blood... All that blood... Could the body even hold that much... Blood? It was everywhere, like someone had some bloodbath fever. It.. oh God. Stepping back, she started shaking again. Badly.
"I think... going to be sick." Her eyes squinted shut. This was just hard to look at. It wasn't like she was a hemophiliac or something. After a full minute, she looked back up, before muttering, mostly to herself. "That looks painful."
Damn it. Some one really did it. Shirong is... dead...

Yoko slept as well she could. It had been a few days since her sister had died and she nearly killed someone over it, so there was only so much relaxation she could have while she was still at this place. Regardless she was starting to bounce back to her normal self, even if it was just to cope. Her sleep was interrupted but the sounds of someone screaming, but only enough to start to wake her up. It wasn't until the Body announcement came that she was fully pulled from her slumber with it's words.
Someone was dead.
Yoko sat up and looked down at her hands. She was fairly certain she hadn't tried, or succeeded in, strangling anyone else, but she couldn't help but feel like the fact she had almost killed someone helped chip down the resistance to murder of those around her. But she wouldn't go around saying this was her fault because that was stupid. Getting up she made her way past the people still in the dorm room and made her way to the place where all the commotion was gathering. She made her way in and looked over at where everyone's pained gazes would look.
Shirong was dead.
The one that pulled her off of the person she almost killed.
At least the Guardian saved that life out of all of the ones that had been lost so far.
Yoko stepped back and took some deep breaths to brace herself. It was sad she was so used to this already...

fear is not an option luck is not a factor,
Well this was highly annoying, if Ryuu could say so himself. The announcement, people freaking out, things like that. He thought better when he had sleep. But perhaps that was the plan, as everyone would be tired from a short night's sleep. People were even less logical when they had less sleep. Luckily for Ryuu, he could put on his game face and do what he needed to do. It wasn't like he hadn't ever been woken up in the middle of the night to talk strategy. The sounds of panicked voices as he ordered people to their deaths telling them if they just listened to him, they would survive, even if he was lying to them. Talking to people while they died, some knowing that he was lying to them, and making him tell the truth, asking if their death meant they would win the war. Just because he would lose a battle didn't mean the overall goal wouldn't be met. He'd spoken to many people, knew people who died. And that's why he couldn't get attached to people. He couldn't view people as those with families and friends who would cry and miss them. He cared, he really did, and that's why he had to distance himself.
Ryuu slowly walked from his room over to where the commotion was taking place. He saw several girls, and F4 had said something about not looking if they didn't want to do so. It couldn't be too horrible. And when Ryuu saw Shirong, he clenched his teeth seeing the non-expendable F6 there. However, it wasn't a bad as he thought it would be. While he was just a guy who talked with people, sometimes he would see footage in order to get a better lay of the land, and the horrors there… well, they were much worse than this. Ryuu cast his eyes to the side and thought for a moment. Someone killed a non-expendable. This meant his plan hadn't worked. F6 was supposed to get out of here, and yet here he was… dead. Renewing his determination, Ryuu looked around to the others.
"We need to get going. Split into groups of three, provided everyone else is still alive, three to a group splits evenly. A group should guard the bodies to prevent tampering. I don't care who follows me, but two should come. I'm going to get searching." Ryuu looked around for a moment and clenched his fists again before turning on his heel and walking out of the room.

The today I chose is ordinary,
and it's about to crumble. For various reasons (none which were good), Akimi was awake quite early in the day. Groggily, she pushed herself upright on her bed. Blinking away the residue of sleep, slowly she came to realize that there was quite the commotion going on around her. She managed to catch sight of people scampering around - a bad sign, because there was really only one reason why there would be such hectic activity so early in the morning. And so, with a soft sigh, she grabbed her earpiece from her nightstand and just... sat down on her bed again.
With a heavy heart, she turned the earpiece on. Her fingers lingered over its metal surface, cherishing the fact that she was able to hear once again. After that incident with the masked girl, Monokuma replaced her broken earpiece. And while it said that there were 'no strings attached', Akimi found herself doubtful of those words. But well, it wasn't like she could deny their offer.
Expressionless, her gaze trailed over the growing group of people huddled by the female bathroom's entrance. A part of her didn't want to get up from where she sat. She wanted to just lie down and pull her covers right over, but... but she can't do that, can she?
With another sigh, Akimi pushed herself off her bed and slowly walked over. With each step, her emotions were shut off to a greater degree. A self-preservation tactic was what's being done - this way she won't get bogged down by sorrow and its friends, because the last thing she needed was even more baggage.
With an impassive heart and an indifferent mind, the pony-tailed didn't bother to check out the corpse and who it belonged it. Instead, she started to eye the bespectacled suit. He asked for people to trail after him, and with an inward shrug of shoulders, Akimi steered her course to head in his direction. Silently she followed him, her pace just quick enough to eventually catch up. She walked as she wrote (which was a practiced skill of hers), writing out cleanly a "I'll follow you," in her notepad. It was followed by the question "Who was it?" and an explanation of "I didn't want to see the corpse."
Once the two of them were within arm's length, she reached out a hand to gently grab the back of his shirt. If and when the suit turned around, she wasn't exactly going to meet him face-to-face. With the notebook displayed in her left hand, she would briefly let her eyes glance upwards to gauge the suit's expression. It was unlikely that she would be able to hold the gaze for long, but she hoped nonetheless that he would grant her permission to tag along. Because being rejected would give her more work to do (to find someone else), and that was honestly going to be somewhat annoying.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. Taro was sleeping in his neon red velvet pyjamas and bunny slippers, and with his scarf on. The days were just getting more boring and more boring. He made some friends and observed everywhere, however that was the moment a spark in him flashed. It was TOO peaceful. There had to be something. Taro opened his eyes and got up from the bed.
He took a deep sigh, and wandered around the room. Everyone was still sleeping. Taro quickly dressed up, MAGICALLY quick, and then he went to the cafeteria. His stomach was grumbling wildly, so he thought he should eat something. He quickly grabbed everything he could find, and started to fill his stomach. He was hungry as a wolf. His little bunny buddy sticked out of his scarf, sniffing the food. Taro got some finger sized carrots to feed her, then continuing eating.
However, as he heard a scream, he dropped his food and looked around. It came from far away. Probably in the direction of women's quarters. He heard it. It was Da Ji's scream. If it was someone else's scream, Taro would have enjoyed it and run to the scream source in excitement, however this was a special case. She was one of few people Taro geniunely liked, maybe the only one.
Taro got up and started running towards to the Women's Quarters. While running, she heard an announcement which Bonerkuma Hoes were making. There was a dead body. Taro's steps got faster. He dashed through the door and made his way to the bathroom. Many people were there, looking at the body in terror. There was a tied up, dead chinese boy. Taro took a sigh of relief when he saw Da Ji alive, though he was never going to say it out loud to her. Then he started to laugh hysterically.
''Oh my god! You got me there for one second. I mean, finally! It took you guys so long to murder someone, geez. Though props for murdering the chinese stud, never expected him to be the first victim. Bravo! However, good luck in the investigation. You retards will need it.''
Taro wiped his tears from laughing away, and flipped his scarf sassily, and then left the room. Words: 374 | Tag: - | Notes: -

Izuku yawned as he walked the loney corridors of the factory. He'll be honest, he was very bored at the moment. However, he was thinking of who would die first. Was it going to be Oppenheimer? Katsu? He didn't really care and neither did he mind. However, he heard the bells and winced.
BING-BONG-DING-DONG! A body has been discovered! After a short investigation period, a class trial will begin! Giddy up, kiddos!"
The man blinked, "So there's finally a dead body huh?" He decided to walk a bit faster toward the cries of the people around him and stopped.
"So, the guardian is dead, eh? Took some time, but I'm not too surprised," the Helper crossed his arms as he looked around the rest of the crowd. He would need to tap the shoulder of the first person that would likely help him out. After all, he had to find the murderer of this guy. Ah well, at least he's dead. Plus hey, his talent was extremely amusing as well!
...Ironic.

"And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed he will have a depressed life, and we will gather him on the day of the resurrection blind." Qur'an 20:124
"A body has been discovered."
Oppenheimer snapped out of his trance at the announcement of a body. He was looking at the closed barricaded window for the past five hours without moving or thinking really.
He had entered the room at around half past eleven to pray to Allah. Even though he might be in a different location than most, he still strives to pray five times a day and he has done that without fail for the time being. As he was finishing his prayers, he got up and proceeded to leave, but that's when he heard it: the steel barrier. At first he questioned why the window would be closed, but then he realized the true intended purpose of such a task. Someone had died. Someone had died at the hands of another. Someone was responsible for a murder. The realization set in and he was completely paralyzed. All he could think about was all the friendly faces he met and the others who have strayed from Allah's guidance. Who was it?
He was close to tears, yet couldn't cry for fear of the inevitable. The inevitability that he would discover the name of this man.
As soon as the announcement rang, he heard a beep coming from his electronic identification card. He looked at the name: Shirong. The man who had helped in saving his life. Gone. Oppenheimer fell to his knees and screamed pain.
"It's my fault!" He muttered to himself. "I should have stayed by him to repay him for his generosity! I could have prevented it! I could have prevented it!"
He slammed his fist directly into the floor and screamed once more.
Calming down, he stood back up and slowly waltzed towards the final resting place of Shirong. One step at a time, he went towards bathroom in the women's area. Along the way, he passed by Akimi and asked for permission to enter the female area. She granted him permission and he went inside. Katsu was there as well, telling him that he did not need to see it.
"I'm sorry, but that's where you are wrong."
He took a handcloth that has seemingly been unused in the events and proceeded to damp it.
He walked over to Shirong and proceeded to bend down on one knee.
"I am sorry that this has happened to you. It's my fault. It always is. But I will make this right."
He proceeded to cleanse Shirong with the damp cloth on all exposed skin five times. He then took a blanket from the other room and wrapped Shirong in it as best as he could.
He then immediately went into prayer.
"Allahu Akbar."
He continued through this with a simple apology going through Oppenheimer's heart.
I am sorry I killed you. I will make it right. I swear on my faith to Allah.

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- Mei watched as Joo-Eun entered the bathroom. The Poet seemed blissfully unaware of the situation as she dd her business and left. It wasn't long though before she apparently realized that something was wrong and came running back in. Mei was pushed aside by Joo-Eun and watched as the glasses girl laid her eyes on the dead Guardian. She watched as the Poet seemed to collect herself and turned back to Mei and Da Ji. Then, Joo-Eun smiles at them, though Mei can tell that there is still worry hidden underneath the stoic woman's gaze.
"This is the first time that it has happened, someone needs to go call the others. Da Ji, call the boys, I'll call the girls. Mei, please stay here and guard the body, I trust that you will know what to do."
It was the first time that Joo-Eun had spoken to Mei without that undertone of manipulation. Or perhaps it was still there and Joo-Eun was just too shocked to stay as scarily calm as she usually was. Mei didn't know, but clearly she had just been given an order. An order that she must follow. Stay and guard. If an adversary comes, I shall cut them where they stand. "Very well, Cruz. I will do as you say." The Poet then placed her hand on Mei's shoulder and on instinct, the Kenjutsu Master flinched. She wasn't used to such interaction and she found it odd. Why was the glasses girl touching her? No one had ever done that before.
Mei rose her wakizashi higher into the air before standing near the stall door. She wouldn't deprive people of looking at the corpse, but at the same time, she needed to be close so that she could stop anyone from tampering with the body.
In came Katsu, though the Hacker didn't stay long. The strange Sybil was next to arrive, though Mei found it difficult to read her emotions under her mask. Yoko came after that, and her reaction was unsurprisingly average. Ryuu came next and he decided to take charge, asking for people to follow him. Akimi was the next to arrive, though she skipped looking at the body and instead decided to follow Ryuu as if she were afraid he'd leave her behind. Taro came next, with an annoyingly dense reaction. Mei wasn't going to freak out over a dead body, she saw them all the time, but disrespecting one was another story. Izuku came in next and he only served to annoy her even more. It was as if he expected this to happen.
Then came Oppenheimer. Mei listened as he spoke to Katsu and then... then he approached the body with a rag. She raised her sword arm to cut off the path between Oppenheimer and the body and glared, "I'm afraid I can not let you do that. Touching the body is against what I have been told and I will be forced to eliminate you." She wouldn't let anyone touch the body. Not even to clean it. Not when Joo-Eun had given her such clear orders. Mei would never defy her orders.

Sleeping was scary. During the daytime, Tomoe could do and say and act however she pleased and generally she did so to make people happy and people seemed to like it she was just a generally happy if not rather idiotic girl. Which is what she wanted people to think. She tried to be nice to everybody, tried to smile, to laugh to play, tried to do whatever she could seem like they were okay. She could do all of this when she was awake because she could fool herself into pretending everything was gonna be okay and she didn’t have to worry about a thing.
When she was asleep though, she knew how things were. She had to remember all the things that had been said, that had been done, things she had wanted to forget Memories were an awful thing from her experience, you know. A painful glimpse into a past you can’t change that serves only to bother and upset the people around you until nobody was left and it was just you and darkness. What a horrifying proposition.
This little internal monologue might have continued if somewhere deep in her brain Tomoe had the feeling something was going on. Someone had tried to wake her up before and yet for some reason she had shrugged her off which is weird because she never does that, just ask Akimi. Finally, unable to fight the urge to wake up any longer a long white haired head raises from a bed and tries unsuccessfully to blink away a fuzziness in her vision. What a pain.
It seemed like a lot of people had gathered here thought for some reason. Lumbering slowly towards the bathroom and the commotion, Ishiharu dangling from her hand loosely as if he could be dropped any second, Tomoe stifled a huge yawn and blinks up at Katsu who seemed to be standing in the doorway for some odd reason.
“Kachan? Whazzwrong? Watsgoinon?”
She stood on her tip toes in an attempt to see what was behind him and the crowd of people and shook her head from side to side to try and clear the butterflies out of her head. There were a lot of people around and something must have happened. Or maybe they were all justr…she didn’t know, having a board game tournament in the bathroom. Not likely, she would admit but it was something she told herself to make the feeling in her stomach go away.
Not that it worked because just them someone had to move, and…
There he was.
Everything went silent in her head. People were talking, arguing, trying to make sense of it all. This…This was still a dream right. Yes, a dream. Not real. Heh, she was so stupid. There was no way it was real; nobody could be dead. Nobody would commit a murder, right? Murder was wrong. It was a scary thing, it was ugly and viole-
Viol…vio..
At that point, even Tomoe’s brain shut off for a moment and she just stared. Silent, wide eyed and horrified. Ishiharu having fallen to the ground and temporarily forgotten about..
