MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- Despite how the glasses girl had acted towards him earlier, Mei Meiyo was still intrigued by was the orange haired man had said earlier. Those words he had said were foreign to her and she wanted to know what they truly meant. She set off looking for the man at once, her gait confident and she strode around. The place wasn't that big, so where could he be? The Kenjutsu Master looked around the room until her eyes settled on someone. It wasn't who she was looking for, but an interesting person, nonetheless.
When Mei had first seen her, she didn't think much of her, but then she proved herself to be quite the person, pushing the little looking girl away from the monitor. Mei had viewed her as an adept fighter and a possible sparring partner. But for now, all Mei wanted was her thirst for knowledge quenched. She could just ask her, but all the same, she wanted to find the orange haired man and get the information from the source.
Mei made her way over to the white haired girl with glasses and opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Come on, Mei! Stop giving in to fear. She cleared her throat and tried again, but, once more, no sound came out. Frustrated with herself, turned away from the white haired girl and drew her wakizashi. Immediately, she felt the anxiety slip away and she turned back to the girl. "Tell me. Have you seen the orange haired man? I wish to speak with him about his earlier words."

Joo-Eun Cruz - SHSL Poet
"Fiction is the truth inside the lie." - Stephen King
|
How long has it been, thirty seconds? Forty-five? Sixty? Joo-Eun has been staring at this one spot of the wall for a while now ever since some participants have left the bridge, she knows some of them are still around and this was the best she can do to not freak out in public. She wished, not for the first time today, that she was back at Spain, back home, back in her comfort zone. She never felt comfortable with showing her emotions to other people, she’d rather seem as calm as possible. But my God, was she freaking out right now.
What was she? A fictional, long haired pretty detective with burnt hands in a mystery killing game? No she wasn’t, she knew she wasn’t so what brought her to do what she just did a few minutes ago in front of the other participants? It was illogical of her, she should’ve just let someone else take charge but now that she began acting like some person who has it together in front of the group, she can’t stop, it’s now her duty to take charge as much as she can. She figured acting out of character would just draw more suspicion on her anyway.
That wasn’t the only reason why the Poet is on the bridge still, she needed to do some final investigations before leaving the place, She decided to write it all down this time. It has been a while since the Poet began inspecting the bridge, she had opted to stay in this place, looking for more clues. She figured that since this was the only place where they saw the brothers that maybe they’ll somehow drop a hint on how to leave this place. After everything that’s happened, Joo-Eun is fully dedicated to get to the bottom of this and leave, she had said it before that she wanted to go back to her home in Spain and that’s all she’s aiming for. Besides, when the Poet has set her eyes on a goal she is motivated and sure to finish it.
Although she had thought that it was no good to be doing all this alone, she needed a companion, an ally. She wasn’t strong enough by herself, she knows that. The Poet knows her limits, she is incapable of self defense, although she is witty and may be able to find her way out in some situations, she knew that if she were faced with a person who has gone berserk, a person beyond calming down, she would be dead before she even formulates a plan on getting out of that. “How the hell would I fight back anyway, recite a poet to them?” Joo-Eun thought to herself and laughed, a silly thought. She needs to find a guardian.
The Poet was so deep in her thoughts that she didn’t notice someone clearing their throat behind her, she only began to notice when she heard the sharp sound of metal sliding against metal, as if someone was drawing their sword out. Joo-Eun reacted quickly and turned around, raising her hands. Mei Meiyo, the swordswoman was pointing her sword at Joo-Eun Cruz, the poet. She had thought it was best to stay silent until the woman had spoke her mind.
"Great Joo, just a day in and you're already getting your first death threat." She thought to herself, some may wonder why the Poet didn’t feel as threatened or shell shocked as she should in this moment but it is only because she can feel that this girl in black wasn’t as dangerous as she seems. Not yet anyway, but maybe if someone pulled the right strings of this puppet, use the right words then maybe she would prove to be a useful ally.
Although she would be lying if she wasn’t curious with the reason behind her request, “Tell me, have you seen the orange haired man? I wish to speak with him about his earlier words.” Joo-Eun cocked her head to the side and let out a sigh. “You don’t need to be so... formal with me, Ms. Mei.” She shook her head, “I neither want to harm nor fight you, I just simply want to know what’s troubling you to make you need to find that redhaired cyclops.” She shrugged, then, the Poet let out a small smile of hers and looked at the swordswoman's eyes, “So, allow me to help you with your troubles.” Joo-Eun offered to Mei with a smirk, her cold blue eyes glinting with interest and glee.
It seems that she had found her ally, and maybe even her new poem, in the swordswoman in black.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. This factory was weird. The people was even weirder. It seemed like everyone was trying to play it cool and straight, and not show any emotion and there was a feeling of oppression. Oppression of wills. Everybody was trying to force their presence and superiority. Taro was going to have none of it. If Taro got stuck with these losers, he was going to do his best to have fun. Fuck the bears, Taro was going to play with THEM. Well, he was also going to impress them with his super duper cool awesome magic tricks, and gain like amongst them. It was going to be FUN.
Taro started wandering in the factory. He needed to explore this place, since he was probably going to die in here. But, it was no time for melancholic thoughts. Since his first impression to others was unstable and a freak, which Taro was, he needed to get a more appopriate view instantly, or they wouldn't trust him. Taro was a man of tricks. It was what he did, and what he was super at. Both magic-wise, and people-wise.
Taro started to walk across the bridge back and forth, examining and remembering every each rust stain, acid puddle and weird holes and marks that bridge has took from time. It was wrong, but hey, if you wake up in a factory, with a murdering game that you participate in one day, anything can happen in your life and because of it you had to be prepared.
Taro saw at the end of the bridge, the hilt fetishist woman and the semen hair woman were talking. Taro thought to himself it could've been fun to talk with them a little bit. Taro started to come near them by skipping happily, with his signature cocky smile. He heard the red haired cyclops word from the semenhair's mouth and he got angry as hell. His steps fastened and he suddenly appeared beside them.
''Didn't your parents taught you that nicknaming people is bad, Ms. Semenhair? Erm, well, I have a name. Taro Arakawa, SHSL Magician. And you are Joo-Eun Cruz. And she is Mei Meiyo. Look, it isn't that hard. Well, since you were talking about me, I wonder what is the topic hm?''

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- Glasses girl didn't react too bad at the sight of Mei's blade, though her surprise was evident at first. For this, Mei respected her a little more. Yes, this girl had all of the makings of a good sword fighter. She was calm, but not afraid to hurt people, and she seemed smart as well. The only problem, so far, was just how oblivious she was when Mei had come in. It wasn't until she had drawn her sword that the glasses girl had even noticed her. In a fight, you needed to be constantly aware of everything going on. Especially if your name was Mei Meiyo and you had people targeting you sometimes.
“You don’t need to be so... formal with me,"
"Formal? I do not believe I am being formal. And even so, is 'Miss' not commonly used as a formality? I'm afraid I don't know much about formalities, so I could not confirm." Mei looked off to the side for a bit before turning back to face the glasses girl.
"I just simply want to know what’s troubling you to make you need to find that redhaired cyclops. So, allow me to help you with your troubles.”
Something was wrong here. That look in the glasses girl's eyes. That smirk. Mei had seen it before. Plenty of people had that same look in their eyes before telling Mei to do something. To kill someone. Could this white haired glasses girl want someone dead? Was she considering what the bears had said about killing? To save herself?
However, something the glasses girl had said was odd. Mei tilted her head, frowning, "What is a cyclops? Is it a type of person?" Given the context, Mei didn't know whether she meant harm to the orange haired man or if the glasses girl was simply describing him, but Mei suddenly wanted to know. "Tell me what a cyclops is."
''Didn't your parents teach you that nicknaming people is bad, Ms. Semenhair? Erm, well, I have a name. Taro Arakawa, SHSL Magician. And you are Joo-Eun Cruz. And she is Mei Meiyo. Look, it isn't that hard. Well, since you were talking about me, I wonder what the topic is, hm?''
"You. You are whom I am looking for," Mei declared as the orange haired man approached. "Arakawa! I have some questions about your earlier outburst." Then, what Taro said rung in her head, "How did you know my name? I do not remember telling you. Or anyone for that matter." She moved her right arm to point her wakizashi at Taro.

Joo-Eun Cruz - SHSL Poet
"Fiction is the truth inside the lie."
- Stephen King

Joo-Eun can see the gears turning in the red-eyed girl’s head, she’s observing the Poet, she can see a twinkle of familiarity in her eyes, what it is for she doesn’t know. She can see that the girl is someone who is looking for a fight, she can clearly see that in her body language, the way she holds her sword to Joo-Eun’s neck, this girl is not joking around. Not to mention the fire in her red eyes, it shows that she is a fighter. The swordswoman is perfect as an ally, the Poet thought.
She sees confusion and curiosity in her eyes as she cocks her head to the side. “What is a cyclops? Is it a type of person?" Then, she demands, "tell me what a cyclops is." Ah, so she is a curious little cat, the Poet had thought to herself. Being one who prides herself in her intelligence, she cannot help but give the poor girl the definition of a cyclops, trying to make it as simple as possible to her, “A cyclops is a gigantic, one-eyed monster in Greek mythology. I merely used it as a derogatory nickname for Taro Arakawa, he is not actually a cyclops, you know. He’s just human like all of us.” She explains to the girl.
She feels the urge to touch the red-eyed girl’s cheeks, at this moment she looked so innocent and naïve, Joo-Eun might even dare call it cute. It reminds her of the innocence of her dogs, of how one moment the dogs can be naïve and cute, and the next ruthless and beastly. The Poet liked it, but she held back on her urge and focused on the task in hand: manipulating her.
And then, a familiar but new voice piped in, “Didn't your parents teach you that nicknaming people is bad, Ms. Semenhair?”
“Ah, speak of the devil and he shall come.” She mutters to herself and crosses her arms as she watches Taro walk in the room. “Lucky for me, I actually don't have parents, and semenhair? What a creative nickname for me, red-haired cyclops.” She emotionlessly told him with a blank stare.
“Erm, well, I have a name. Taro Arakawa, SHSL Magician. And you are Joo-Eun Cruz. And she is Mei Meiyo. Look, it isn't that hard. Well, since you were talking about me, I wonder what the topic is hm?” He asked to the both of them.
“Perfect timing Mr. Taro! We were just talking about—“
"You. You are whom I am looking for," The red-eyed girl, who Joo-Eun now learned is named Mei, cut her off. "Arakawa! I have some questions about your earlier outburst." The Poet decided to let her speak first, it was best to be on her good side especially now that her sword is drawn. She wanted to see what her deal with Taro is, anyway. “How did you know my name? I do not remember telling you. Or anyone for that matter." Joo-Eun watches as Mei shifts her right arm, the one holding the sword, from Joo-Eun to Taro, pointing it at him instead.
The Poet breathes a small sigh of relief as she massages her neck, although she is glad that the pressure of the blade is no longer at her neck, she decided she had enough of violence for this day. She would rather not be a witness to a murder, at least for today. Besides, she needed Mei Meiyo. “Hold up.” She gently held Mei’s arm to calm her down, “it is informal, and not to mention immature and idiotic, for us to point our swords at people we’ve just met, let Mr. Taro speak his mind first, please.” She gives the swordswoman a gentle smile, letting her know that she is on her side.
This should do the trick. She thought to herself.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. Taro wasn't suprised that the semenberry whorecock called her both a devil and a cyclops. He was a merciful person, so he acted like he didnt heard it.
''Well, it makes sense that you don't have any parents. If I were your parent I would leave you in a basket in front of some person's door.''
Taro hit heavy, but it was survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed, that was all. And Taro was killing it right now. Yikes. However, after the hilt fetishist approached him Taro hold his mouth with his hand and tried to not laugh. It was a very funny and comical behaviour. Taro cleared his throat and tried to be serious.
''Yeah, um, all of your names are written on these things called ElectroID's. You know, those tablets that murderbears told us to not lose them.''
After she asked about his earlier chain of swearwords, Taro was near of laughing out loud. He thought that he could have fun with this. Huge fun. The fetishist was pointing her sword at him, and the semenhair whorecock was trying to calm her down. It seemed more like flirting though. It was clear that she was acting, however the fetishist was probably too stupid and blind to see it. Taro smirked and cleared his throat once again. He decided to just go with the flow. Taro gently touched the sword, causing it to dissappear. He smirked and picked it from the back of his ear and started to play with it.
''Now now, I don't want myself dead so why don't we just calm down? We're all friends now. Friends who will murder each other. Well, what were you going to ask me then?''
Taro held the sword in his hand, waiting patiently Mei to grab back her sword. He put on his signature cocky smirk and waited for her questions.

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- “A cyclops is a gigantic, one-eyed monster in Greek mythology. I merely used it as a derogatory nickname for Taro Arakawa, he is not actually a cyclops, you know. He’s just human like all of us.” So, it was an insult. So this guy, this Taro Arakawa, was human as well? It made sense, after all, what else would it be? Mei had more questions about Joo-Eun's speech on cyclops after she said it, but for now, she had questions for Taro. The Magician would answer her questions if it was the last thing he did. Mei would make sure of it.
The Poet's face flickered with a strange emotion for a second, but Mei couldn't identify it. It was almost like a mix of ownership and reminiscence, but the swordswoman had no idea what that meant? What was going on under Joo-Eun's speculating, scanning blue eyes? Her eyes that held that same look. The look of a murderer or a manipulator. This confused Mei even more. Why would Joo-Eun feel the need to manipulate her? After all, all that the Poet had to do was ask and Mei would have to oblige. Denying a hit request wasn't in her blood anymore as she had chased it out long ago.
“Lucky for me, I actually don't have parents"
Mei frowned at this, her mind going at rapid speeds. So Joo-Eun was an orphan as well? That was something that the Poet and the Kenjutsu Master had in common. Parents that had left them. Parents that were gone and not coming back. Mei squeezed her eyes shut tight for a moment before chasing the memory of her smiling mother from her mind. Banishing the feeling of her father's warm hands on her shoulders. It was so long ago since she had seen either of them and suddenly, Mei felt a lust for her family once again. Keizou, Takeo... Her brothers were both gone too and she gritted her teeth as more memories surfaced.
''Well, it makes sense that you don't have any parents. If I were your parent I would leave you in a basket in front of some person's door.''
Despite the insult being directed at Joo-Eun, Mei felt an intense anger burn in her core at Taro's words. She pushed her blade at his neck, the sharp wooden blade pushing against his skin and she let out an audible growl. "You take that back." As Mei held the white blade towards Taro, her arm quivering ever so slightly, she felt a touch. She turned her head to see Joo-Eun.
“Hold up. It is informal, and not to mention immature and idiotic, for us to point our swords at people we’ve just met, let Mr. Taro speak his mind first, please.”
So, the Poet had finally given her an order. An order that Mei felt that she had to obey. Releasing her anger through a curt breath, Mei relaxed her sword arm. ''Yeah, um, all of your names are written on these things called ElectroID's. You know, those tablets that murderbears told us to not lose them.''
There was that word again. Murderbears. Then the Magician did something that seemed to defy reality itself. Within moments, Mei's wakizashi was out of her hands and in Taro's. She blinked in surprise.
''Now now, I don't want myself dead so why don't we just calm down? We're all friends now. Friends who will murder each other. Well, what were you going to ask me then?''
Calmly, Mei swung her strap over her shoulder and drew her katana before pointing that at Taro as well. "Give it back. That is important to me and if something happens to it, so help me. Your dead body will be at my feet, Arakawa."
The Kenjutsu Master's eyes held no mercy. Even despite Joo-Eun's orders, Mei was still very willing to push the sharp blade through Taro's neck. If he did something to her wakizashi, the wakizashi that was meant to be Takeo's, she wouldn't hesitate in mutilating the Magician. The answers to her questions could come later. For now, she needed her blade back.

Joo-Eun Cruz - SHSL Poet
"Fiction is the truth inside the lie." - Stephen King
|
There were a lot of things that happened afterwards, some that Joo-Eun wasn’t able to note but others that she realized quickly. For one, she was observing Mei’s reaction and can see the confusion in it, the Swordswoman can’t seem to figure the Poet out.
Joo-Eun also noticed the surprise in the Magician’s eyes, probably due to her calling him a cyclops and a demon. Ah, not that what I call him matters anyway, the guy is easily offended. You can call him a redhead and somehow he’d find a way to be mad at that fact. She thought to herself. The Poet, however, was slightly surprised that the Magician held his tongue from sprouting more ill-mannered words. Or so she thought.
Her focus was on Mr. Taro, the Magician, when she had revealed the fact about her parents. She has always been open about them, it’s not that they lived long enough for Joo-Eun to remember much about them, she has always been raised by her siblings.
Of course, there were moments where the Poet would wonder what would it be like to have parents, but she would then push away the thoughts. Feelings, emotions, sadness, all they ever brought were complications. Nothing good ever came out of showing her weakness.
Her stoic expression proved to be useful, she knows that no one would be able to know what she was thinking. Even though her focus was on Taro, she saw Mei frown on her disclosure, she seemed to be deep in thought. She took a mental note to ask her about this later. Her smug feeling quickly disappeared when she heard Taro's reply to her revelation. “Well, it makes sense that you don't have any parents. If I were your parent I would leave you in a basket in front of some person's door.” Her smug smile was replaced with an amused one instead, her usually icy blue eyes twinkling with hilarity.
“Ha… hahaha.” She covered her mouth and silently laughed, she was so lost in her own little world of hilarity that she didn’t notice Mei scold Taro. “Hah, that was pretty good, I’ll give that to you Mr. Taro. See, Mr. Epic Rap Battler, we aren’t here to insult each other okay?”
Joo-Eun, however, saw Mei point her sword to Taro and stopped the swordswoman with an order. She watched as Mei quickly follows her orders. Strange, somehow she thought that Mei would be more resistant, she was ready to answer Mei if she ever asked why she should stop pointing the sword to Taro but instead she just blindly followed her.
Mei Meiyo, the Swordswoman, perplexed Joo-Eun, she is now genuinely interested in her. Why is this girl so ready to blindly follow her order just like that? Like… a robot? A robot, huh? Mei reminded Joo-Eun of a robotic dog, somehow naïve and cute but emotionless. The Poet has always wanted to have a robotic dog as a child, maybe she can relive that childhood dream now with Miss Mei.
She watches as Taro gently touches the sword, making it disappear. The Magician smirked and picked it from the back of his ear and started to play with it, Joo-Eun was not entertained. She expected a magic trick from him sometime soon seeing as he is the SHSL Magician.
The Poet stayed quiet as she watches the conversation between Mei and Taro play out. She figured she’d have her fair share of entertainment first before things got too far. And it did get too far.
"Give it back. That is important to me and if something happens to it, so help me. Your dead body will be at my feet, Arakawa." Joo-Eun watched Mei threaten Taro’s life, she is no longer surprised but rather amused. Dios mio, this girl really loves making death threats, doesn’t she? She thought to herself. The swordswoman was going to be a handful, Joo-Eun was sure of this, but she at least hoped that this would be worth it.
Joo-Eun can see both the dangerous fire in the Swordswoman’s eyes and the mocking glint in the Magician’s. She had enough of this, one can only handle so much violence in one day before they do something about it. Both of their stupidity irritated the Poet. Honestly, they were already in a horrible situation and both of them were just making it worse.
Joo-Eun rushed to the kitchen and went back with two glasses of water, she spilled each of them at the Swordswoman and Magician. “Ay Dios mio, can you two please just use your brains for a moment?” Joo-Eun pointed her finger at Mei, “You, you better value your life some more. You don’t know how important that is, and I don’t think killing someone with a witness is considered valuing your life.” Plus, I still need you, she silently added.
The Poet then shifted her gaze to the Magician and slapped him, hard, on the face, “and you, get a goddamn grip. Stop being an illiterate, spontaneous, ill-mannered, prick for once if you want to keep on living here. I swear, that attitude of yours will be your downfall.” She had said this all with a stoic expression, her voice soft but strict and serious.
Don't get her wrong, that wasn't an outburst from the Poet, heavens no, it would take far more than the previous event for her to actually have a genuine outburst. She simply felt it was needed to take further actions to get these idiots back to reality. Besides, she had fun throwing water at them.
Joo-Eun took a deep breath, "Now that we got that out of the way, Mr. Taro, what brings you to this bridge again?" she had asked the Magician for formality, a small cold smile painting her stoic face.

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. After his direct insult to semenhair smartass, the hilt fetishist pointed her sword towards him. Taro looked at Mei with underestimating eyes, and gave away a cocky smirk. She was obviously annoyed with the fact that he made such a nasty jok. Semenhair took it pretty well though, even calling him a shsl rap-battler.
''It's true that I'm a rap god, lady. No need to hit it in my face. And I'm just joking, geez. Calm your titswords blady.''
Taro was having a hell of a time messing with them. It was fun. The semenhair was a total smart-ass that was trying to overcome Taro with facts and knowledge, which was things that would pass him like thin air. Taro knew no law, all he knew was MAGIC. He made his own rules.
Mei was really annoyed with the fact that Taro took her sword to annoy her in purpose. It was all a joke, really. But it was obvious that she was a really straightforward and serious person. Taro took a deep sigh of dissapointment and gave Mei her sword back.
''Re-lax. I was just messing around. Don't you have any sense of humor woman? Geez. I should really teach ya'll how to have fun a bit. Sorry that if it is THAT important though.''
However, Taro's attitude went all the way to the grumpy when he felt water flowing down his hair and making it go down. He started to scream and yell.
''DO YOU FUCKING KNOW HOW MUCH IT TAKES TO GET THIS HAIR LIKE THIS YOU FUCKING WHITE HAIRED SLUT! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE WITH YOUR SMART-BITCH ATTITUDE AND CORPSE-FUCKER HAIR- Shit, I-I'm sorry.''
Taro suddenly lost his cool and got embarassed, however he suddenly went back to his cocky state when Joo-Eun slapped and scolded him. He started to laugh and wiped his tears from laughing off.
''Oh, gee. You're something aren't you? Mostly people are scared to even show a little bit of disagreement to me after they know me, but you are really confident. I like you. I like you too blady. Well, you two can be my new pair of badass friends. However, don't forget that I'm only doing this for my own interest. I don't BE friends. I just manipulate. However, you two just gained a special place on my list! Oh, me? What am I doing on the bridge? Well, I was just wandering lady.'' Taro turned his head to Mei. ''And I suppose you had questions for me, blady?''

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- Mei could feel the rage burning within her unlike anything she had experience before. Hurt her, fine. Take her katana, fine. However, if you touched her white wakizashi, the last remnants she had of Takeo, it was as bad as hurting him yourself. When Mei held that blade, it was like Takeo's spirit was fighting alongside her. The importance of her brother was too much even for her own code. Whether this Joo-Eun Cruz ordered her or not, her brother came first. Takeo would always be first. It was simply the way Mei worked. Not even her grandfather held that much of a place in her heart and Keizou, well ever since he had gone missing, it was like he never existed in the first place. Mei could vaguely recall Keizou from when they were younger. She remembered him being quiet and distant and then, when word came back that their parents had fallen in battle, he left. That was it, Keizou was gone. Takeo stayed with Mei because Mei had a duty to protect him, but in the end, she had failed that task. But never again would she fail and lose someone else. This, she swore.
It only took her pointing her black katana at the Magician for him to emit a low, deep sigh. She watched as Taro regrettingly held out the spirit of Takeo, her wakizashi and, in respect, she dipped her head as she took the blade in her right hand.
''Re-lax. I was just messing around. Don't you have any sense of humor woman? Geez. I should really teach ya'll how to have fun a bit. Sorry that if it is THAT important though.''
"You have no idea just how important he was to me. I cannot possible 'have fun' when someone threatens the remnants of his memory." Mei's hardened expression didn't waver as she spoke to Taro. "However, I shall still thank you, Arakawa, for returning my belonging to me--"
At that moment, Mei felt something cold touch her body. Something cold and wet. She immediately turned on instinct, both of her blades at the ready, but when she just saw Joo-Eun holding a couple of glasses, she lowered her stance. The Poet had her attention now and clearly she wanted it.
Well, Mei would have to add slut, smart-bitch, and corpse fucker. Oh, and while she was at it, she could add titswords blady on there too.
“You, you better value your life some more. You don’t know how important that is, and I don’t think killing someone with a witness is considered valuing your life.”
"My life? Not once have I considered my life over what's truly important to me. In the end, orders are orders and Takeo is Takeo. Both go above my own will. That's all there is to it." Mei looked up at Joo-Eun. "Cruz, surely you have something you value more than your life. I cannot claim to understand it, but my code is my honor. And my honor, along with Takeo, is the most important thing to me."
There was another strange emotion on Joo-Eun's face, but once again, Mei couldn't identify it.
"I like you too blady. Well, you two can be my new pair of badass friends. And I suppose you had questions for me, blady?'"
Friends. Mei was unfamiliar with the concept, but she said as Taro asked, "I would like to know the meaning of 'Fuck', 'Shitframe', 'Tits Mcgee', 'Murderbears' , 'Stupidshitass', 'Slut', 'Smart-bitch', and 'Corpse fucker.'"

Everyone wants a magical solution for their problem, yet everyone refuses to believe in magic. Blady was clearly annoyed with Taro because of his little trick. Taro didn't felt the least amount of guilt in him. I mean, she would become scarier if she had nothing. Like, in the commonphrase. ''Be afraid from the person who has nothing, nor nothing to fight for.'' Taro always thought it was a wise saying. However, he did understand that he shouldn't have done that. Mei was a person Taro wanted as an ally, so he gained a little bad reputation. But on the bright side, Taro liked having a bad reputation.
''No probs, m'lady. I'm now clean as a vulture egg.''
Taro didn't knew why he said vulture egg, but he didn't care either. After blady did a long monologue about her life and honor, Taro was impressed. This woman was a machine, only ready to take orders and her will is linked with her honor. She herself was a sword. It was interesting, to see a person like that. However Taro took notice that this Takeo guy, which the blade was probably one of his only remnants blady had, was very important for her. He could use this information some day.
However, Taro tried to hold his laugh after blady asked what she was going to ask, however he failed and bursted into laugh. He quickly played it cool and gave himself some seriousness.
''Oh, blady. You really hit the spot, didn't you? Well, I'm going to have fun with this. Well, these are swear words. And it isn't very nice using them, but I'm not nice too. Well, fuck means sausage and donut having a party. Sexual intercourse. Choo-choo into the tunnel. Baby producing. Y'know? Well, shit means the brown thing that comes out from our lower parts. Poop. The exiled ones. And shitframe is a word that I made up when I'm angry. It doesn't have an exact meaning. Tits Mcgee means woman in my vocabulary. I usually use it for particularly annoying tit-people. Oh, and tit means the big melons, with nipples on them. Murderbears mean murdering bears, that should've been clear enough. Stupid shit ass means stupid shit down parts. Ass means, well, down part bagles. Nuff said. Slut means those who... Do fuck for money. Unlucky people. Smart bitch means smart slut. And corpse-fucker means a person who does the job fucking with a corpse. Dead body fetish. Well, this is it. I hope you're enlightened.''
A wide smile appeared on Taro's face, as if he was innocent and said nothing wrong or dirty. He was really having fun.

MEI MEIYO -KENJUTSU MASTER- The Kenjutsu Master closed her eyes as Taro rattled off his explanation. Most of it still made little sense to her, but she simply nodded, blissfully unaware. She noticed, though, that expression on Taro's face. That expression of humor. Why... Why did he remind her so much of Takeo? She felt a pang of sadness in her heart as she recalled those horrifying events that had caused her to lose her brother. The bark and snapping of fangs. The tree roots that caught at her feet.
---
"Takeo! Takeo, I'm stuck!!" The black haired girl cried, hearing the pitter-patter of small paws behind her, steadily getting closer.
"Hold on, Mei... I'm coming." She could see the white haired boy grab a stick and swing it at the creature. "S-Stay back, you brute! Stay away from my sister!"
Mei wiggled her foot until it finally slipped free, but at that very moment, the creature decided that it didn't want to humor Takeo and instead changed course for the young girl. She squealed, terrified at the bared fangs coming closer. Then there was an impact to her side and she was flung out of the way.
"Takeo...? Takeo!?" Mei cried out as the creature attacked her younger brother, blood staining his white hair. Enraged, Mei picked up the stick and smacked it across the creatures muzzle and, whimpering, it ran backwards into the deep woods. "....Takeo?"
The small boy coughed, bleeding out of several wounds. A chunk of his chest was missing and his purple eyes were dull, "M-Mei... I'm so g-glad you're o-okay." Then he managed a weak laugh, his normal, carefree expression returning, "You k-know... I've a-always like b-breaking the r-r-rules... But I-I never thought th-that sneaking o-out into the f-forest would... be the... w-way... I died."
"Takeo!!" He was still so young, and the seven year old's words sounded like they belonged to someone much older and much wiser. The white haired boy took Mei's hand and squeezed it tight, whispering,"...Goodbye, Mei..." before going limp.
"TAKEO!!!!"
---
Why was it that this Taro Arakawa reminded Mei of her brother to the point of bringing back those old memories. Was it the way he spoke? Free and unbound? Was it his expression? Without a care in the world? Or maybe it was the way he defied the rules. Mei didn't know and, frankly, she didn't care. As of now, all she knew was that she had a new person to protect. She couldn't lose the person who reminded her so much of Takeo Meiyo, her lost brother.
And as for this other person, Joo-Eun Cruz, Mei saw in her the desire of protection as well. It seemed that this relationship would have to be mutual. Mei would have to protect Joo-Eun and Taro, and vice versa.
"Cruz... Arakawa... I believe that we should work together and do our best to protect each other. I will lend my blades for this and I'm sure.... I'm sure Takeo will do the same." Mei nods as she says it, "From now on, we are one."
And thus was the beginning of the trinity. How long it would last was known only to the future, but Mei Meiyo, Taro Arakawa, and Joo-Eun Cruz were determined to keep this newfound spirit alive.
